  1. Universal Printer Driver - UNIDRV.DLL (UNIDRV.EXE)

  4. 7/10/92 - This version of the Universal Printer Driver (version 3.1.1)
  5.           is an update to the driver previously available on the  WDL
  6.           and the driver provided in the Windows 3.1 package. It
  7.           corrects the following  problems:
  8.  
  9.            - Not being able to select different graphics resolutions
  10.              that have have the same horizontal resolution from
  11.              version 4.0 of Microsoft Excel for Windows (for example,
  12.              120 x 1440 dpi and 120 x 72 dpi).

  14.            - DeviceCapabilities API function not correctly returning
  15.              DC_MAXEXTENT and DC_MINEXTENT values.
  16.  
  17.            - Drivers not recognizing newly installed TrueType fonts if
  18.              TrueType fonts are installed while the application is
  19.              active.

  21.            - QUERYESCSUPPORT Escape not showing SETABORTPROC Escape as
  22.              supported.

  24.            - General protection (GP) fault if more than 32 permanent
  25.              soft fonts installed.

  27.            - Corrects all problems with the 4/6/92 version.

  29. 4/6/92 -  This version of the Universal Printer Driver is an update to
  30.           the one provided in the Windows 3.1 package. It corrects the
  31.           following problems:

  33.            - General protection (GP) faults when printing very small
  34.              bitmaps. This problem is most noticeable when using
  35.              HPPCL.DRV and printing at 75 dots per inch (dpi)
  36.              resolution.
  37.  
  38.            - Incorrect extended characters for device fonts printing
  39.              on a page where both TrueType and device fonts are used.
  40.              This is most noticeable when using HPPCL.DRV.

  42.            - GP faults when printing from Aldus PhotoStyler.
